Tar River Poetry

So pleased to have two poems appear in the Spring 2013 issue of Tar River Poetry ("Doll with Purple Heart" and "So Others May Live")! Many thanks to editor Luke Whisnant. This publication is especially close to my heart, as I'm proud to appear alongside a Flagler College English graduate (and poetry wizard) Zack Strait. Zack is currently studying for an MFA at Wichita State, who must be treating him well: his poem in Tar River, "In the Beginning," is truly stunning. Call me a proud poetry mama!
